Welcome to the Health Risk Behavior Lab within the Lehigh University Psychology Department
Research in the lab broadly focuses on examining social influences on health-related and prosocial behaviors. Processes of interest include:
- How and when do perceptions of peers shape young adults' behaviors in social contexts (i.e., alcohol use, bystander behaviors)?
- What are the mechanisms by which parents influence young adults' health behaviors?
- What factors shape experiences of belonging?
- How and when are people able to engage in multiple health behavior change?
